LAHORE : The Consul General of China in Lahore, Zhao Shiren, emphasized the importance of holding essay competitions and similar programs to maintain a positive narrative about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He pledged to continue such activities in the future in a friendly manner. These statements were made at the end of a nationwide essay competition, which lasted for 30 days, in collaboration with the Chinese Consulate in Lahore and the Institute of International Relations and Media Research (IIRMR). During a ceremony held at the IIRMR office in Lahore, the jury announced the top five winners and presented them with cash prizes. Tehniyat Mobeen ul Haq secured the first position, followed by Rabia Zahoor in second place, Faiza Naz in third place, Haris Masood in fourth place, and Kamran in fifth place. The essay competition was held in connection with the completion of CPEC’s 10-year anniversary and its grassroots impact.
