ISLAMABAD : During a bilateral meeting in Beijing, Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong agreed to boost collaboration under the China-Pakistan Economic Cooperation (CPEC). Accompanying the planning minister were Tariq Bajwa, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Finance, Ambassador Moinul Haque, and embassy officials. The two sides thoroughly discussed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, including financial, economic, and trade cooperation under the CPEC, as well as cultural exchanges and people-to-people ties. They reiterated their commitment to further strengthening cooperation on multilateral platforms.
