ISLAMABAD : The All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association (APCEA) organized a briefing to highlight the significance of ongoing energy projects within the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The event, called “Infodor Salon on CPEC Energy Projects,” featured representatives from key CPEC energy companies including Power China Pakistan, China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Ltd, and others. The briefing emphasized their contributions to Pakistan’s energy sector development, with 41 ongoing projects worth over $6 billion and collaborative efforts involving around 1,500 Chinese and 11,000 Pakistani professionals. Projects such as the Dawood Wind Power Project, Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Plant, Tarbela Hydropower Project, Basha Dam, and Dasu Transmission Line Project were highlighted, alongside environmental and social responsibility commitments. APCEA, with 200+ member Chinese enterprises, aims to enhance China-Pakistan economic cooperation and connectivity.
