ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan’s exports to China reached $1.605 billion in the first five months of 2022, increasing 5.42 percent from the same period last year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC). Furthermore, according to Badar uz Zaman, commercial counsellor at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, the second phase of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement gives Pakistan’s 313 major export commodities zero-tariff market access and has encouraged the nation’s manufacturing sector to increase output and exports.
