ISLAMABAD : Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning, officially opened the newly constructed Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering at Punjab University. In his speech to the young attendees, the Minister emphasized the remarkable achievements of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which has garnered a substantial $29 billion in foreign investments, thereby revolutionizing Pakistan’s reputation as an attractive investment hub. He also added that Ambassadors representing prominent nations such as the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, and France have displayed keen interest in facilitating investments from their respective countries’ enterprises within the specially designated economic zones of CPEC.
