ISLAMABAD: The foreign ministers of Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan have restated their unwavering dedication to enhancing trilateral cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Additionally, they have jointly pledged to extend the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan. After their constructive trilateral dialogue, the three parties issued a joint statement expressing their strong determination to capitalize on Afghanistan’s potential as a pivotal hub for regional connectivity. Representing their respective countries, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari of Pakistan, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang of China, and Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi of Afghanistan actively participated in the dialogue.
